Mini Baby Bib for Teddies

I created this mini baby bib to go with the latest Teddy Bear that I created from a free pattern available online.

You will need:
Yarn A (Pink or any colour of your choice)
Yarn B (White)
Crochet hook (I used 2 mm as I used this for my teddy bear)
Yarn needle
Scissors

Abbreviations:
Chain = ch
Single crochet = sc
Cluster 3 double crochet = cl3dc
Double crochet = dc
Stitch/es = st/sts
Slip stitch = sl

Note: The round begins with an adjustable ring (Also known as magic circle or magic loop. A lot of tutorials are available online).

Steps:
With Yarn A, make an adjustable ring.

Round 1: Work 14 sc into the ring, sl to the first sc. (14)

Round 2 (14 dc, 14 ch1 sp): Ch3 (this will be the first dc and ch1 space), [dc in next st, ch 1] 13 times, sl to the top of the first ch3. (24)

Round 3 (14 cl3dc, 14 ch2 space): Sl to the first ch1 space, ch3 (this will be the first dc of the first cl3dc), 2 dc to form the first cl3dc, ch2, [cl3dc in next ch1 space, ch2] 13 times, sl to the top of the first cl3dc. (42)

Round 4: [3 sc in every ch2 space] 14 times, sl. (42)

Round 5 (Short round, last 7 sc left un-worked):  [Ch3, dc] in next st, dc in next 3 sts,  2 dc in next st, [dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in next st] 4 times. (35)

Fasten off. Use the yarn needle to weave in the end.

Round 6: With Yarn B, chain 30 , attach to the bib at the start of Round 5 with sc, [ch3, sc] in each 35 sts, chain 30.

Fasten off. Cut the ends.

Now your teddy can wear the bib 🙂
